Novalia Advises Sellers on Strategic Partnership Between uLékaře.cz and Mavie
We are pleased to announce that Novalia has successfully represented the sellers in a major transaction within the digital healthcare sector. uLékaře.cz, the leading Czech provider of online medical advice and corporate health services, has formed a strategic partnership with Mavie, a European leader in holistic healthcare and part of the UNIQA Insurance Group.
As part of this transaction, Mavie Next GmbH has become the majority shareholder in uLékaře.cz. The founding group, MED21 (led by MUDr. Tomáš Šebek), remains the second-largest shareholder, while key figures including Jiří Hlavenka, Ondřej Bartoš, Petr Staněk, and CEO Martin Pospíšil retain minority stakes.

The Novalia team provided comprehensive legal support to the sellers—including the founders and multiple investment groups—guiding them through the complexities of this cross-border deal. The transaction was led by partners Pavel Marc and Tomáš Bachtík, with the support of associate Kristina Geržová.
The buyer, Mavie, was represented by CMS in Prague.
