Tomáš has been an integral part of Novalia since 2016, when he first joined the firm as a legal assistant. Over the years, he has grown through every stage of legal practice, and thanks to his diligence, precision, and strong business sense, he became both an attorney-at-law and a partner in 2024. His work focuses primarily on M&A, commercial contracts, and legal support for startups as well as established companies — from the earliest investment rounds through growth stages all the way to successful exits. Clients value his ability to combine thorough legal analysis with a clear understanding of commercial priorities and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague, where his master’s thesis examined the implementation of ESOP schemes in Czech limited liability companies — an increasingly important topic for technology and high-growth companies. During his studies he also spent a semester at Tel Aviv University, gaining first-hand exposure to the Israeli startup and venture capital ecosystem. This experience allows him to support innovative projects with a strong sense of international context and an understanding of the dynamics of fast-growing businesses.

Tomáš approaches clients with calm confidence built through dozens of transactions and negotiations with both Czech and international investors. His goal is to ensure that the law is not an obstacle but a tool enabling companies to grow, attract investment, and bring their ideas to life.
