Novalia Facilitates Successful Exit for Czech Startup Inventoro

Novalia in 2022: Significant awards and active involvement in education
To make the balance sheet for 2022 complete, we would be remiss not to mention our other activities in addition to the major transactions. We received awards, developed our art law practice, supported education, and actively participated in helping refugees from Ukraine. Our team grew as well with new young colleagues.

Novalia and startups in 2022
Record breaking. This is a simple way to sum up, 2022, not only for our office but also for the Czech startup scene. The founding partners of Novalia back in 2015 were at home in the technology world, but that world was small in size compared to what we see today. The Czech startup scene has grown exponentially since then and Novalia’s footprint with it. Over the past year Novalia has handled a record number and value of transactions since its foundation.

We advised on another startup exit. MarTech startup Roivenue is being bought by Dutch company ScanmarQED
The Czech startup scene is really busy. This week we have one new and significant transaction, which was again led by Novalia lawyers Iva Javorská, Kamil Stanek, and Vojtěch Tancoš. They represented the Czech startup Roivenue, which was acquired by the Dutch company ScanmarQED.

Novalia represented Alter in the Startup Deal of the Year
Google bought the startup Alter (Omnipresence Inc.), which has Czech roots. The startup, formerly known as Facemoji, helps developers add online avatars to their apps and was co-founded five years ago by Czech entrepreneur Robin Raszka. It is one of the most significant exits with a Czech footprint on the domestic startup scene. Lawyers Bill Finney and Kamil Staněk from Novalia also participated in it.
